What an amazing day! I was picked up on time at my hostel. Once everybody was picked up our guide Irene was instantly making jokes and she had a vood vibe. Also Irene was doing the tour in Spanish and English, and she did that very good. The tour itself was also breathtaking, we could see a lot of hummingbird and the waterfall and the butterflies were also very nice! And ending with the chocalat tasting is perfect!
Had an amazing time during our Mindo tour! We had a fantastic tour guide (Irene) if you can, request her. She was so knowledgeable. Everything we asked, she had answers for. The butterflies and hummingbirds portion of the tour was magical! I would 10/10 recommend. Irene also took some pictures of us and our group and came out absolutely stunning!
Ivan is a great guide! He is punctual, knowledgeable re: cloud forest ecosystem. He pointed out birds to my husband, an avid birder. Having hummingbirds feed out of my hand was amazing, impressive varieties of butterflies and chocolate tasting included a tour of cacao processing into chocolate.
